ROM CB published Regulation No 3 of Sep. 4, 2025 amending and supplementing ROM CB Regulation No 4/2021 on reporting of statistical data and information to ROM CB.
Purpose
Amendments re the definition of the term credit institutions; extension of the reg's scope to the reporting mechanisms under the provisions of ECB Reg 2021/379 on balance sheet items of credit institutions and the monetary financial institutions sector.
And to the mechanisms under ECB Reg 2024/1988 re statistics of investment funds.
Description of asset categories; classification codes; obligations of credit institutions and electronic money institutions re non-residents; rules for insurers and non-banks.
Effectiveness
The Regulation enters into force on Dec. 1, 2025.
