On Aug. 29, Thai CB issued polymer banknotes for THB 50, THB 100.

  • Thai CB announced launch of polymer banknotes for THB 50, THB 100 denominations.

  • Polymer THB 100 notes can be withdrawn through ATM/CDM machines, while both denominations are compatible with vending machines.
  • Existing paper banknotes for THB 50 and THB 100 denominations remain valid and can continue to be used normally during circulation period.
  • Public can withdraw polymer banknotes through all commercial banks and specialized financial institutions starting Nov. 21, 2025.
