Amended Article 12.01, Code of criminal procedure, TX LEG 1-12-12.01 to add real property theft and related fraud as felonies with the specified sentence for conditions.
Amended Title 1, Chapter 5C TX LEG 1-5-5C-5C.001 to .003 to include procedures to address property real property theft or fraud, including the required documentation.
Also amended TX LEG 1-42-42.0376 re restitution for private/personal property, the value of losses and attorney fees, based on the conduct constituting the offense.

Effectiveness
Except as provided by Subsection (b), Act takes effect on 91st day after last day of the legislative session, and Section 51.901(g), Government code takes effect Jan. 1, 2026.
