Main Points
The updated Rulebook is available in pdf format; parts are also available separately.
It applies to Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) licensed for custody services.
VASPs providing custody services must be an independent legal entity separate from any member of their group that provides other activities or linked services.
Except in respect of virtual asset (VA) transfer and settlement services.
If a VASP is licensed for VA transfer and settlement services, in addition to custody services, it must comply with the VA Transfer and Settlement Services Rulebook.
The Rulebook's parts are: Part I-Additional Board Requirements; Part II-Policies, Procedures and Public Disclosures; Part III-VA Storage and Custody Rules.
Part IV-Staking from Custody Services Rules; Part V-Collateral Wallet Services Rules.
