On Apr. 22, IND BSE issued notice regarding cyber audit requirements.

  • IND BSE issued notice re cyber security, cyber resilience framework for stockbrokers.
  • Trading members are required to conduct the relevant audit for the period ended Mar. 31, 2025, and submit reports to the IND BSE according to specified categorization.
  • Follows IND BSE Feb. 2025 called for action taken report on cyber security, #244764.
  • Audit Categorization and Frequency
  • Type I members (using trading software provided by IND BSE and application service providers): annual audit; type II members (using CTCL facility): annual audit.
  • Type III members (using algorithmic trading facility/algo facility): half-yearly audit.
  • The notice additionally covers the submission deadlines and submission process.
  • The link for submission of cyber security audit report shall be available from Apr. 30.
  • Effectiveness
  • For specified audit periods, preliminary audit report submission is due Jun. 30, 2025; and corrective action taken report submission is due Sep. 30, 2025 (if applicable).
