SBA offered disaster relief to New Mexico small businesses and private nonprofits affected by the severe winter drought that occurred beginning on Jan. 28, 2025.
Under the declaration, Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLS) are available to small businesses, agricultural coops, and private nonprofits in the designated areas.
EIDLs are for working capital and do not require borrower have physical damage.
Deadline
The deadline to return economic injury applications to the SBA is Dec. 1, 2025.
