GE GVT issued Ordinance of Feb. 6, 2025 according to S26 para 2 Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act also amending Special Telecoms Fees Ordinance.
Overview
Based on S26 para 2 in conjunction with para 1 of Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act of Jun. 23, 2021, as last amended by art 8 N13 Act May 6, 2024.
Federal Government issues ordinance with consent of the Bundestag and per S22 para 4 sentence 1 in conjunction with para 1 of the Federal Fees Act of Aug. 7, 2013.
Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport issued Regulation on consent management services under Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (Consent Management Regulation/EinwV) notified in accordance with Dir 2015/1535.
The ordinance has just 3 articles: article 1 covers EinwV, article 2 amends Special Telecommunications Fee Ordinance and article 3 sets out the entry into force.
Effectiveness
This ordinance shall enter into force on first day of quarter following its publication.
