DEN BAR had sent out emails to lawyers and law firms stating that everyone must now submit both the client account and supervision statements to them, by Mar. 31, 2025.
Requirement Overview
All the lawyers and law firms are allowed to submit all client account statements and supervisory statements for reporting year 2024, with statement submission deadline being Mar. 31, 2025, and it is then an obligation for all lawyers and law firms to do so.
Information and guidance on client account and supervisory declarations is available on the relevant DEN BAR webpage, and reporting pages can also be accessed online.
In connection with the email distribution, DEN BAR had been made aware that some lawyers have stated the forwarding email contained some missing words and letters.
This led to understandable concerns among lawyers about whether this is hacking or phishing, and is not the case, so DEN BAR is working to find the error regarding this.
