SBA made Economic injury disaster loan (EIDL) assistance available to California small businesses economically impacted by the Interstate 10 fire and road closures.
Eligibility
The SBA declaration makes disaster assistance loans available to small businesses in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties in California.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, most private nonprofits organizations may qualify for EIDLs.
Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any actual damage.
Loans of up to $2 million are available to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by victims had the disaster not occurred.
Application Deadline
Completed EIDL loan applications must be submitted to SBA by Oct. 28, 2024.
